Watch The Lady Hermit Movie Trailer OnlineThis novel fusion of action and romantic drama is a good example of the kind of vehicle Cheng Pei-Pei starred in during the late 1960's and early 1970's.

In THE LADY HERMIT, Cheng Pei-Pei stars as the title character, a legendary martial artist who is living incognito as a maid while trying to heal from an injurious battle with the villain Black Demon (Wong Hap).

Unfortunately, Black Demon wants to finish what he started and terrorizes the countryside as he searches for her.

Things get more complicated when Lady Hermit is tracked down by Cui-ping (Shih Szu), a precocious young fighter who wishes to train with her.

The two form a teacher-pupil relationship but their harmony is threatened when both women fall for the same man, a dashing young fighter named Chang-chun (Lo Lieh).

All these plot threads add up to an intriguing blend of action and melodrama that made a memorable vehicle for its charismatic lead actress and also helped to make a star out of the young Shih Szu.

The brave Lord Nameless (Kenny Ho) is the leader of a band of heroic warriors with remarkable powers and skills.

Nameless's nemesis, Lord Godless (Simon Yam), is a warlord from Japan with designs on Nameless's territory in China, and in a daring raid he captures Nameless, imprisons his soldiers and takes control of his land.

As things look hopeless, three of Nameless's allies set out to free him: Cloud (Aaron Kwok), Wind (Ekin Cheng) and Chu Chu (Yan Tang).

The three warriors call upon Lord Wicked (Wong Tak-bun) for help, while Cloud absorbs Nameless's powers and gifts for sword fighting and Godless's son Heart (Nicholas Tse) runs wild across his father's new property.

As Cloud absorbs what he's learned from Nameless and Wind is tutored in combat by Wicked, can they fend off Godless, Heart and their allies? FUNG WAN II (aka THE STORM WARRIORS) is a sequel to the 1998 blockbuster FUNG WAN: HUNG BA TIN HA (aka THE STORM RIDERS); both films were adapted from stories from Ma Wing-shing's long-running comic book series.
